BABY'S BREATH HEAVEN AT LANDMARK HOTEL

LONDON, ENGLAND

EMMANUELLE & SIJI

HOW WE COMPLETELY TRANSFORMED LANDMARK HOTEL WITH BABY'S BREATH

It is no secret that one of our favourite venues to work at is the stunning Landmark Hotel! We have planned several weddings here and we love to make sure each one feels unique and personalised. Our French-Nigerian couple wanted a simple yet elegant aesthetic. So for the decor, we only used two flowers: a pairing of baby’s breath with orchids which were the bride’s absolute favourites. True to our name, we added some flair to the simple florals by creating a tiered top table with hanging clouds of baby's breath that became the focal point of the ballroom.
A fun fact about this wedding is that all the planning was done remotely as the couple lived in Nigeria. After a year of planning solely through zoom calls, we only met the couple the day before their wedding!

MULTICULTURAL WEDDING IN LONDON

HOW BAR OWNERS THROW AN

AFTER PARTY

Emanuelle & Siji are no strangers to a great party as they love to go out on the town and are avid alcohol enthusiasts as they own a bar together! This only meant that we had to throw the most epic after party! Although the ceremony and reception were elegant and simple, the party took on a life of its own with a few twists and turns: alcohol in syringes, light up joysticks, confetti canons, light show and even a giant gogo dancing LED robot on stilts ( try saying that five times fast whew!). This was certainly a party for the books!

DO NOT HESITATE, this is a MUST and AFTR is just the best!

- EMANUELLE & SIJI

From our first meeting, we knew AFTR were the perfect team of planners to help us put our dream wedding together. Gabby was so easy to talk to and she made us feel comfortable from the first instance. I immediately felt a huge burden off my shoulders.
My husband and I are a mixed race couple (my husband being Nigerian and me being French), we had a unique vision for what we wanted our big day to look like. Further complicating the matter, we both live in Nigeria and had the added burden of planning our UK destination wedding remotely. We are pleased to say AFTR understood the assignment and were able to navigate through our varying family opinions, family’s pestering phone calls and last minute changes with ease and professionalism! In the year prior to wedding, we had numerous scheduled zooms calls with the team in spacious intervals which kept us calm and truly made the experience worthwhile. Living full time in Nigeria, I personally met Oyinkan a few days prior to the wedding and Gabby the day of and I remember getting quite emotional.

The whole wedding planning journey is such a bonding experience and I felt we built a genuine connection with them.. Our wedding day itself was just spectacular and our friends and family kept repeating how amazing, beautiful and fun our special day was. We were able to simply relax and felt like everything was under control. There are so so many things to think about (big and small) and it really helped us getting peace of mind throughout this whole process.

One of our favourite moments of the day was right before our grand entrance into the reception. Gabby came out dancing to check on us then immediately ran back in to grab us a couple of shots before we went in. The AFTR team were truly a special group and we really could not have asked for more. GABBY and your team, THANK YOU again so much for this wonderful experience <3
